Chris DePolo is a Virginia-based, licensed home inspector. Chris got his start in real estate working for a builder, however, he quickly discovered that he wanted to go into business for himself.

Chris eventually founded Chris Inspects with the goal of helping buyers and sellers with the intricacies of the home inspection process. Chris Inspects is a company that provides high quality, professional home inspections to property owners, prospective buyers, and sellers in Newport News, Williamsburg, Richmond, and surrounding areas. Since its founding, the company has become well known for its wide selection of services which include comprehensive inspections, walk and talk consultations, drone inspection, mold testing, and whole house imaging.

Over the course of Chris’s time in the industry, he has built a reputation as a professional who is extremely dedicated to contributing to a space where homeowners, buyers, and sellers are able to ensure that their properties are safe and up to code. Chris is a Triple Crowner, meaning that he has walked the entirety of the Appalachian Trail, the Continental Divide Trail, and the Pacific Crest Trail, a total of over 10,000 miles. Chris is one of only a few hundred individuals who has earned the Triple Crowner distinction, and he continues to look out for new challenges as a hiker and outdoorsman. As a professional who is passionate about volunteer work, Chris DePolo enjoys giving back to local charities and non-profit organizations such as Beyond Boundaries RVA and leads hiking and backpacking groups through summer and winter months.
